Koper 28.07.2007- Saturday was signed in the name of two great names of Slovenian volley ball
Jasmin Čuturić and Samo Miklavc. With their great performance and excellent organization from
the BVK Koper they entertained thousands of spectators.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday on traditional Yellow night were fully in sign of beach volley and
beach soccer. Many things are happened on the beach volley scene. The amateur beach volley
happens and eight times state champions Ćuturić / Miklavc had the last match.

In the Saturday final of recreational tournament, the Old boys(Kumer, Koprivec,Jakomin)
competed against the Old cats (Gorup, Tavčar, Grmača, Kapel). The match has been
played in fighting spirit on both sides. The old boys have obtained a hard victory in
a competition of sixteen teams.

Contest of VIPs and sportsmen

Tension increased with VIP contest, where the team A Slavko Kotnik, Jure Bradač, Sebastjan
Škorc and Maja Bedalov ) against the team B ( Gašper Vinčec, Dejan Fujs, Jani Klemenčič
and Vasilij Žbogar) showed more wittiness and concentrations. Also sportsmen from other sports
as sailing and basketball know volleyball and they know how to surprise with
crafty blows.  Next to playground are meanwhile already prepared "the stars of evening",
the moderator of programme and fashion models of VULCANO agency from Maribor made
a good show for visitors on tournament.

The culmination of event

The tension was increasing and at 23:00 the young world champions of beach volley
(Tine Urnaut,Nejc zemljak) stepped on sand. In the play of youth against the experience
and the routine, the world champions haven't had possibility, because older colleagues
started violently and they defeated the first set easily.

In the second set, Urnaut and Zemljak with a help of viewers have started with a better
game and they had more chances to the result connection. But old Slovenian beach volley
champions have begun with a better game and they turned the result in their benefit.
They won with the result of 2:0.

After the match, the president of BVK Koper Jasmin Čuturić have thanked to all which have
helped for organization of this event. Viewers were assigned special acknowledgements,
because they caused a fantastic atmosphere.

Because of injuries, the two best beach volley players in Slovenia of last twelve years said
goodbye on best possible manner.
